How the Calculation Works
The calculator multiplies the bill amount by the selected tip percentage. It then adds the tip to the original bill and divides both amounts by the number of people.
Total tip = Bill amount × Tip percentage
Tip per person = Total tip ÷ Number of people
Total per person = (Bill amount + Total tip) ÷ Number of people
